Firm Overview – Eriksson Technologies

Incorporated in October 1998, Eriksson Technologies, Inc. specializes in the design and detailing of precast/prestressed concrete structures in both the commercial building and highway bridge markets. With our main office in Tampa, FL and a branch office in Denver, CO, we serve clients throughout the entire United States. We maintain a full staff of over 30 engineers, CAD technicians and support personnel.

Our partnership with Eriksson Software, Inc. gives us unparalleled access to cutting-edge technology. Our two companies work together, side-by-side to develop new design tools and systems that greatly enhance project delivery. Our principals all have deep roots in both engineering and software development, providing us with the expertise and experience to serve a leading role in the advancement of the precast/prestressed concrete industry.

Leadership

Roy L. Eriksson, P.E.

President/CEO

Roy began his career as a structural engineer at LEAP Associates International, Inc., a pioneer in the precast/prestressed concrete industry. He was the first employee of LEAP Software, leading the growth and development of the company during its first ten years. Prior to starting Eriksson Technologies, he spent six years at Parsons Brinckerhoff as a Professional Associate and project manager. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Brian A. Barngrover, P.E.

Senior Vice President

Brian is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He started his career at Stanley Structures, a Denver-based precast/prestressed concrete fabricator, gaining comprehensive experience in all aspects of design and production. His experience includes stints at Jacques & Aswad and at LEAP Software. He has extensive experience in engineering software development, having developed many of the leading application engineering programs in the precast/prestressed concrete industry.
