  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Revit or Tekla a plus
  • Previous precast knowledge preferred
  • Able to read structural drawings preferred
  • Solid math skills with good understanding of geometry
  • Pays close attention to detail

Structural Engineering Intern (ID# 16001)

Tampa, FL

Must be currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program with a focus on structural engineering and have taken reinforced concrete design.

A minimum of 20 hours per week.

  • Assist with the design of various structure types
  • Perform structural analyses
  • Prepare drawings and sketches using AutoCAD
  • Check drawings
  • Other tasks as required

Structural Engineering (ID# 16002)

B.S or M.S. in Civil Engineering program with a focus on structural engineering

Entry level

EIT certification

Fulltime regular position

  • Participate in the design of a variety of structure types include buildings, bridges, and marine structures
  • Design media typically include reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and composites
  • Work collaboratively with CAD Technicians and other engineers
  • Prepare drawings and sketches using AutoCAD
  • Check drawings
  • Liaise with others as needed

Structural Engineering Application Programmer (ID# 16003)

B.S. in Civil Engineering or B.S. in Computer Science

Entry level

Fulltime regular position

  • Develop structural engineering application programs
  • Develop various algorithms associated with structural analysis
  • Perform QA checks on software
